How do I claim my optical rebate?

We proudly recognised by Bupa, Australian Unity, HCF, HBF and HCI in Australia. So you can claim a rebate for your prescription glasses through your private health fund. Note that sunglasses fit over and non-prescription glasses are not eligible for the health insurance rebate.

The process is simple:

  1. Check with your private health insurance provider: Before you place your order, make sure you confirm with your provider.
  2. Complete Your Purchase: Order your new glasses through our website.
  3. Use Your Official Receipt: After we ship your order, we will email you a detailed, itemised receipt. It has all the necessary information your health fund needs, including our provider number and the relevant item codes.
  4. Claim Your Rebate: Simply submit this receipt to your health insurance provider via their app, website, or in-person. They will then process your claim and send you your rebate directly. Generally, reimbursement will be received in a few weeks time, but that depends on your provider.
